Maggie Martin, 99, proves age is just a number with her vibrant aquatic life

At 99 years old, Magdalena "Maggie" Martin has a simple prescription for staying vibrant: keep moving. Martin, a California native, who now lives in Decatur, has witnessed wars, discrimination, 17 presidential administrations, eight children, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. And she's still going strong, attending water aerobics classes three times a week, crediting the exercise with maintaining her physical and mental health.

Resident at Cape Cod senior living center meets artist of beloved print

Carol Sheehan just moved into her new room at Brookdale Cape Cod when a handyman noticed a familiar name on a piece of art Sheehan wanted to hang up in her room. The artwork, a print of an original painting titled "Rosa Rugosa," was painted by Jean Tucker, a Cape Cod artist. It turns out, Tucker lives nearby. Right at Brookdale, in fact. "It was a surprise to meet her, and finally, her identifying the picture. I mean, it was amazing," said Sheehan.
