At 81-years-old, George Charlson says he's ready to see Oklahoma from a bird's eye view. George and his friend, Jody Martin, both skydived recently. They hope their experience encourages people to keep trying new things and to never let anything hold you back - at any age. "Doing this shows people in Brookdale that maybe they've got a handicap but they can still do it," George says.

The group's leader, Zack Ball, Sr., says his grandmother's memory inspired him. Elton Denner is 100. 81 years ago, he joined the military. “I came home this one day from work and my draft papers were in the mailbox. I left from there and went back down to the Santa Ana air base and signed up, finalizing my entrance into the Air Force,” Denner said. He was an aerial witness to history on the day Japan surrendered.

88-year-old Richard David Paul is a featured participant in New Braunfels' Veterans Day parade. He served during the Vietnam War, then as a Training Commander at two Air Force Bases. Now, Richard lives in Brookdale New Braunfels. His motto? "Make sure that everyone you know is treated fair."
