On Mother’s Day we honor, recognize and cherish all of those who call themselves “mom.” At Brookdale Senior Living we have wonderful mothers that both work and live in our communities.

In the video above, you will see a story featuring one of our residents, Loretta Chabala.

Loretta calls Brookdale home in Jacksonville, Florida and sat with one of her six children to talk about the challenges and triumphs of motherhood.

Loretta’s daughter Catherine gave us insight into her mother’s journey, “She quit her job to raise the kids and once the kids were all old enough she went back to work. Watching her in her profession, as a professional female really inspired me as I grew into my profession.”
