Beginning Sunday, September 11, and continuing through Saturday, Sept. 17, communities across Brookdale are celebrating National Assisted Living Week (NALW) and its theme, "Joyful Moments."
Each year, the week kicks off on National Grandparents’ Day and honors the individuals who reside, work, and volunteer in assisted living and residential care communities with special activities and events.
National Assisted Living week was created by the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) in 1995.
