The Mosquito Fire is affecting the area around Auburn, California, where our Brookdale Auburn community is located.
As of Sunday afternoon, the conditions around the community continue to remain stable. Residents and associates at the community are reported to be doing well. We remain in close contact with local authorities and are monitoring the situation.
There are still no evacuation orders impacting our community at this time, however, our team remains prepared in case the situation were to change.
In the event conditions change, we have detailed plans in place that include staging transportation to move residents to a safer area with accompanying care associates, providing temporary accommodations as well as food, beverages and adequate supplies to care for residents.
