Season of giving: Brookdale communities in Central Florida exchange Christmas cards and cheer

The holiday season can be a reminder that small acts of kindness can go a long way. At Brookdale Wekiwa Springs, Executive Director Kristin Collazo said her team worked to spread some holiday cheer just before Christmas.

Residents and associates from Brookdale Wekiwa Springs exchanged Christmas Cards with Brookdale Lake Orienta – another Brookdale Senior Living community in Central Florida.

While this was the first time the two communities have done something like this, Kristin said it would be without question something they would do again. “Our residents were excited to bring cheer to another community and send them kind words,” she said.
