Brookdale Senior Living’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary Chad C. White has been named to the 2020 Modern Governance 100 list in a program dedicated to recognizing influential governance leaders.
White received this recognition because of his work in guiding Brookdale’s Board of Directors and Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee on several recent governance enhancements. He has been an excellent connector of the Board, corporate management, and internal auditors. White’s leadership and efforts have proved instrumental in partnering with the management team to accelerate the declassification of the Board, onboarding three new directors, including a new non-executive chair, restructuring the Company’s two largest lease portfolios, and selling its largest joint venture interest. His commitment drives Brookdale to be a leader in fairness, accountability, responsibility, and transparency.
