To meet the challenges of COVID-19, Brookdale Senior Living had to change its business quickly and the stakes were the highest imaginable – literally life and death! That’s according to Brookdale’s President and CEO Cindy Baier, who shares her insights on the new “Nashville CEO Podcast”.
Baier told host Fabiola Fleuranvil that Brookdale has been progressive, informed, and responsive during the pandemic, reinventing the company’s business model overnight. Brookdale is the leading operator of senior living communities throughout the United States, operating and managing independent living, assisted living, memory care and continuing care retirement centers, with 741 communities in 45 states and the ability to serve approximately 65,000 residents as of March 31, 2020.
